Surf Session and Bonfire June 28th at La Jolla Shores

Summer is finally here and lets have a fun get together at the beach with a late afternoon surf session and a bonfire to top it off.

Saturday June 28th SD Women’s Surf Group plans to host a Surf Session and Bonfire at La Jolla Shores. Bring your boards, wet suits and other beach goodies and join us out in the water.

If you don’t surf, thats no problem. Spend some time in the sun and water. Play some games like volleyball, read a book, meet up with some of the gals, or just hang out. Bring your guitar, ukes, or drums and lets get together by the bonfire and play some cool tunes. Its an easy going mellow happy vibe that goes on.

Just a reminder…for women that are just starting to get into
    surfing…

Please do bring your own equipment if you are surfing. A few of the
gals can help with the beginner surf ladies. Look into renting a foam
board for the day in the area as it might end up being less
inexpensive. The water has been warm around 70 degrees and really
    nice, even with the fog.

Bring plenty of water as it has been really hot. Hydrate your body so
that when you are in the water you will not cramp a muscle(s).

    Lots of sunscreen…enough said…

If you have firewood laying around…we can definitely use it for the
    bonfire..thanks!!!

    Most importantly…have FUN!!
